Hakata ramen is a rich pork-bone broth with thin noodles. Here's what you'll see on the menu and how to say it.

Japan's convenience stores never close, and the studio has a 7-Eleven and a Lawson 3 minutes away and a FamilyMart in 4. A few combos people swear by:
- Ice cup anythingGrab a cup of ice from the freezer case and pour in any drink. Iced coffee, Calpis or a highball, instantly cold.
- Famichiki egg sandoBuy FamilyMart's Famichiki fried chicken and an egg salad sandwich, then tuck the chicken inside.
- Two-minute affogatoPour a hot coffee from the machine over a cup of vanilla ice cream.
- Melon pan ice creamSplit a melon pan and fill it with ice cream for a crunchy, cold sandwich.
- Cup noodle upgradeAdd an onsen egg from the chilled case and a slice of cheese to your cup noodles.
- Frozen fruit spritzDrop a handful of frozen mango or grapes into a bottle of sparkling water.
- Onigiri 1-2-3Pull tab 1 down the middle, then corners 2 and 3. The seaweed stays crisp and wraps itself.
